They are originally located in Beijing, China in 2010; started to manufacture and develop in to cellphones, headset, trimmer, grooming gadgets, and other products and application.

Overall Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G is a great phone with great feature and specs in addition this phone provide great performance in great budget. Not only it will be light in budget but this phone will be light in weight and will be thin as possible. So lets have look on this flagship phone.
Design & camera
- Dimension- 159.3 x 73.7 x 7.29 mm
- Weight 173g
- Matte finish
This phone has 6.55 inch AMOLED DotDisplay front display with 1080 x 2400 pixel, pixel density is 402PPI and ration of 20:9. Front camera is of 32MP with eye tracking focus, night mode, advancing in AI bokeh and depth control and 5P lens.
Xiaomi 12 lite 5G has 3 camera on it’s back side. The rare camera of this phone includes 108MP wide angle camera along with 8MP ultra-wide angle camera and 2MP micro camera. Feature includes eyes tracking focus, night mode, motion capture, time burst, magic cutout, AI portrait mode with bokeh – depth control and skyscaping.
Comparable to Xiaomi Note 11 Pro 5g this Xiaomi 12 lite 5G has the same body structure. The edges are square which increases in grip and give phone a aesthetic modern look. The front display also include under display fingerprint reader. It’s display is protected with coring gorilla glass 5 which will increases the durability of wear and tear.
Include the control of volume along with the Dual-SIM slot and two speakers to create an attractive device that’s pleasant to utilize.
The 6.55in AMOLED Full HD+ panel in the 12 Lite is perfectly balanced and gives excellent color and detail. You can select between 60 and 120 Hz refresh rates, which saves battery life, while the latter allows smooth scrolling. The 60Hz option isn’t a good choice; however, once you’ve switched to the 120Hz setting, you’ll likely prefer to keep it on since it’s great to feel.
This is all enhanced by the display’s support of HDR10+ Dolby Vision, in addition to what Xiaomi refers to as TrueColor, which enhances the display’s colors.
For the audio aspect of things, you’ll see speakers on either side of the device. They give a decent amount of audio. It’s not going to be able to win the hearts of all audiophiles. Yet, for audiobooks, podcasts, watching videos, or even for some simple music listening, it can provide decent sound.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite doesn’t come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, which means it’s not possible to hook the device straight to your speaker. However, Bluetooth 5.2 capabilities are a must. Bluetooth 5.2 capabilities ensure that the wireless speakers and headphones will immediately boost the audio output that comes with this model. Xiaomi 12 Lite.
Processor & Battery
- Snapdragon 778G SoC
- Kyro 670 CPU – upto 2.4GHz
- Adreno 642L GPU
- 4300 mAh battery
- 67W (turbo and inbox) charging
Xiaomi has provided this 12 Lite 5G with the identical Snapdragon 778G processor used in the earlier model Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G. however, its performance on many of the things that users typically make this phone a flagship smartphone.
Moving through different menus and screens is fast and quick. There’s no noticeable lag using the device, and, even with the Camera, you can enjoy an instant launch, with cameras in motion crucial if that decisive moment’ is awaited in front of you. The Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro each have the top Qualcomm 8 Gen 1 processor, which is a significant distinction. The 8GB of RAM available in this version improves the performance, but you can choose a smaller 6GB version to save cost (I would not recommend this). Xiaomi also has an extension of the memory virtualization feature that is supposed to allow up to 3GB of internal memory as RAM.
The larger models include a capacity of up to 12GB, so keep that in mind when you’re considering more capacity. Storage capacity is a standard 128GB in UFS 2.2, and you can choose the 256GB option if you feel it isn’t enough. In a move that could be a snare to some, Xiaomi has decided against support for microSD cards in the 12 Lite Dual slot to hold SIM cards.
It’s essential to select the one that best suits your needs initially because you’ll be unable to modify it later. This is a shame, mainly since eleven Lite 5G provided the hybrid slot that could accommodate two SIMs or one SIM with microSD cards.
Camera arrays for Xiaomi 12 Lite
Focusing is quick and generally will follow the topic (not always the case with smartphones I’ve tried). I got great images in good lighting, be it close-ups of flowers, my pet in a fierce pose (waiting for an opportunity to reward him), pictures of landscapes, or just general photos.
The nighttime images made me wonder whether the phone was more expensive than I had believed. There’s a Night Mode, which does well at making things stand out, like the dark blue boats in the nighttime harbor, and making it clear. However, once I switched off my Night Mode and let the regular Camera take the picture, I took some beautiful photos, which I was very proud of. The metering appears to be well-balanced, and as long you have the wall or, in my case, the bridge’s side to put the phone on while taking an image, the images will be well-lit with a sharp focus. There are some noises in the images, but the software attempts to smooth them out. This means that any photos that you capture will be acceptable to share on social media. However, if you decide to crop them and print them off, you could see less stunning final photos.
Xiaomi offers various photography modes, including Macro, Portrait, Pro, Panorama, Slow Motion, Time Lapse, and others. Be aware that a few require downloads before you can utilize them. You might prefer to experiment with these at home before using any data plan.
Video is best at 4K/30fps, and the default setting is 1080p/30fps. It is possible to capture good footage with this Camera, but the sound quality was thin. Moving from dark to bright regions didn’t seem like it was affecting the sensor in any way; however, on extremely bright days, there was a tendency for overexposing areas of the video.
However, it is perfectly suitable for social media. Adding OIS (optical image stabilization) to the primary sensor puts things in order.
A 32Mp selfie camera can be located on the front and can also produce decent photos. More modes and filters can smooth your skin or perform other tricks. However, the standard Camera can capture the details quickly and precisely.
Although it’s not the ideal camera phone for people who require professional-quality photographs, it’s a great everyday photographer in your pocket that allows you to capture the best shots and then post them to Instagram or Facebook. The Xiaomi 12 Lite is an excellent choice.
- Battery Life & Charging
- 4300mAh battery
- Fast Charging 67W (with charger)
Mi Adaptive Charge
The battery life on the Xiaomi 12 Lite is perfect. Utilizing the phone for a lot of time over the day – including YouTube videos, a lot of internet browsing, emailing social media applications, and even a few phone calls, I had about 30% of the battery left when I went to bed (which is usually after midnight).
The ability to turn off the screen time means I could quickly go through two days with a single charge. It’s not like getting the device back up to 100% is a significant hassle.
Charge batteries on Xiaomi 12 Lite
Utilizing the included 67W power charger, The 12 Lite went from empty to full charge in 42 minutes. That’s impressive. Even if you decide to spend all day staring at your display, you’ll be able to recharge the entire battery in the time it takes to eat lunch. It doesn’t have wireless charging capabilities for this model, so you’ll have to plug it in whenever you need to charge it, and, as I stated earlier, you should at least purchase the charger inside the package. For those who love benchmarks, running this Xiaomi 12 Lite through the PCMark Battery Test returned the results that were 11 hours 3 minutes. It’s pretty acceptable but not exceptional.
Software & Apps
- MIUI 13
- Android 12
Software interface for Xiaomi 12 Lite
Android 12 runs under MIUI 13, and Xiaomi is now promising three major Android versions and 4 years’ worth of security updates over the devices’ life. This means the phone will be able to be used for four years after the date of release; however, the security updates will cease, and you’ll need to dispose of the device. It’s not a big surprise to think this happens since it means you’re less likely to pass an old phone to a friend; thereby, the phone will end up in an end-of-life site. Unfortunately, this is the norm in all industries and four years is quite acceptable. If you’d like to extend it, consider Samsung and Apple.
Cost In India
