India’s PM Narendra Modi during his monthly radio program Maan Ki Baat on 27th November said that the G20 presidency is a huge opportunity for the nation and we should utilize it. In addition to that, he also said that India achieved a lot in the space sector when the Rocket Vikram S launched into space.

PM Narendra Modi, ‘People from across the country have written to me how proud they are that India has got the G20 Presidency’. India will shortly assume the presidency on 1 December 2022 from the current chair Indonesia. India is capable of facing every challenge and providing solutions to the various challenges faced globally for sustainable development.

INDIA MUST UTILIZE G20 OPPORTUNITY

PM Narendra Modi news on his monthly radio program said that INDIA has got the leadership of the G20 presidency and we must utilize this opportunity in all ways and focus on global sustainability. India has the capability to provide the solution to global facing challenges. 

The G20 comprises the following-

1. Two- Third of the world’s population
2.  Three- Fourth of the world’s trade
3. Eighty-five percent of the world GDP.

We can imagine India got the presidency as the opportunity to lead such a huge and powerful group. This is such a big thing and an opportunity for every Indian. We need to utilize this opportunity. This has become even more special as India has got this opportunity and was awarded this responsibility during the time of Azadi Ka Amrit Kaal, he said.

‘Be it peace or unity, sensitivity towards the environment or sustainable development, India has the solution to challenges related to all such things’ he said’.

He mentioned that he received a handwoven G20 logo and a letter stating that it is a proud moment for India and for every single Indian to have the leadership of the G20 Presidency. He was so amazed to know how India felt connected to this achievement. He added by saying that for Indian youth sky is not the limit. Indian youth is thinking big and achieving big.

ROCKET VIKRAM S.

The prime minister on the same day had spoken about the achievement of India in the space sector.

Vikram S. has been launched by a private company and is the first space rocket. On November 18, a new history has been made in the space sector and has been witnessed by the whole of India. On this, a private company in India launched its first space rocket. The space rocket was named Vikram S. This is another proud moment in India where we witnessed the great work done by the youth in the field of tech.
